Dervie Rossanno Johnson

Dervie R. Johnson was born on May 12, 1961, to Hilbert Johnson, Sr. and Doris Sydor Johnson. He passed away at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center Glen Burnie, MD on March 31, 2026.
Dervie received his education in Cliffwood Beach, NJ and for a short time, he attended Lunenburg County Schools, before returning to New Jersey. He worked as a production worker until his health began to decline.
Dervie loved his family and friends, his mantra was always "Family Over Everything" F.O.E. He truly lived by this, and he never missed an opportunity to say, "I love you". Regardless of where he resided, or how long he was away, Dervie always came back home.
He is preceded in death by his father, Hilbert Johnson, Sr. and his brother, Hilbert Johnson, Jr.; maternal grandparents Julian and Daisy Sydnor; paternal grandparents William and Violet Johnosn.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter Teriya Hunter-Jones and her husband Cyrus of Lawrenceville, GA; his son Darrnel Johnson of Keyport, NJ; grandchildren, who he adored Aysia Hunter, Ayzon Hunter, and Jamal Jones; his loving mother (Mommy) Doris S. Johnson: brothers Charles and Ronald Johnson (Wendy); sister in law Mary M. Johnson; six aunts, two of which he held a special bond Hortense Beck who affectionately called Gloria and Shirley Hayes, affectionately called Billie; four uncles; his loving partner of twenty-three years, Arlean Jones and her daughter Shaun Bell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
