James "Bebe" Haywood Robertson

James "Be Be" Robertson as he was called was born on April 7, 1952 to Charlie Lewis and Gladys "Dimple" Hazelwood Robertson in Lunenburg County, Virginia.
He was educated in the Lunenburg County public school system.
At an early age, he was baptized and joined First Baptist Church in Victoria, Virginia where he remained a member until the Lord called him home.
BeBe joined in holy matrimony to Flossie Mae Williams to this union they were blessed with a daughter.
Early in life he moved to New Jersey where he stayed for a number of years. Later returning to Virginia in 1993
James "BeBe Robertson, transitioned to his new life on Monday October 24, 2022. At VCU Medical Center (MCV) Richmond, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Flossie Robertson, a brother, Charlie L. Robertson, Jr. and nephew, Kevin Weston, and a longtime companion Theresa Craig.
He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Tara Robertson, devoted step-son, Anthony Robertson both of South Hill, VA., three grandchildren, Darian, Raekwon, and Charlzae; six great-grandchildren; Darian Jr, Adrian, Au'Ri, Olivia, Alijah, Raekwon, Jr., three sisters, Rosa Davis of Victoria, VA, Maryetta Weston of Pennsylvania, and Gladys Smith of Newark, NJ; two brothers, John Robertson (Martha) of Victoria, VA, and Jackie Robertson (Kim) of Richmond, VA, four aunts; two uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends Bob Hazelwood, Andy Hurt and Edith Hurt, other relatives and friends.
