Jermaine L. Parrish was born on September 25, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Robert L. and Barbara A. Parrish. Jermaine lovingly known as "Scooby", graduated in 1991 from Nottoway High School in Crewe, Va.
Jermaine was a thrill seeker by nature. So it only made sense that he joined the U. S. Navy two months after graduating high school. He was so excited to join the Navy and prior to trained diligently. He would run beside the train for mile to build his endurance.
Later in life Jermaine met the apple of his eye Theresa Wilkerson. She became the love of his life and in their union they had a son (Jejuan Parrish). Making Jermaine's mom, Ms. Thomas, a proud grandmother.
Jermaine takes great pride and joy in his family and friends. He was loyal to anyone he loved. He had a carefree attitude toward life. Scooby was an easygoing free spirit.
Jermaine has a special talent for drawing and writing poetry. He enjoyed both in his past-time. His passion, however, was fishing. He absolutely loved fishing and enjoyed the scenic views.
His smart wit and blunt tongue kept all on their toes. His sense of humor kept smile on the faces of those that knew him best. Jermaine had an upbeat energy and was always a joy to be around.
