John Jasper Graves

John Jasper Graves was born July 14, 1966 to Richard and Mary Dailey Graves in Kenbridge, Virginia.
At an early age, John joined Starlight Baptist Church in Kenbridge, Virginia. He was educated in Lunenburg County public school system and graduated in 1984.
Throughout his life, he had many different jobs which included delivery truck driver, Virginia Marble in Kenbridge, Virginia and maintenance worker on various houses. He finally discovered his lifelong passion which was lawn care with which he continued until his health began to fail.
John was the jokester of the family and loved telling jokes that made everyone laugh.
John entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Graves; sister, Mary P. Brooks; niece, Mary Brooks.
He is survived by his pride and joy, daughter, Linda Graves of Lacrosse, Virginia; stepson, Mark Graves of Newark, New Jersey; lifelong friend and co-parent, Robin Williams of Lacrosse, Virginia; stepmother, Cassie Graves; sisters, Rosa Saunders (Jacob) both of Lawrenceville, Virginia; Brenda Jefferson of Chase City, Virginia; brothers, Andy, Robert (Sarah) both of Victoria, Virginia; Ronnie of Lawrenceville, Virginia; James (Liz) of Dundas, Virginia; Mark (Sarah) of Baltimore, Maryland; aunt, Louise Graves of Victoria, Virginia; uncle, Tommie Graves (Dorothy) of Kenbridge, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
