Funeral Service for Rayshaw Miller May will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014 @ 12:noon in the Friendship Baptist Church Kenbridge, Virginia with the pastor Reverend Elmus Morgan, Jr.in charge. Rayshaw Miller May was born on July 17, 1932 in Lunenburg County, Virginia to Arthur May and Elizabeth Jackson May. Rayshaw entered a peaceful rest on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Hundley Annex, South Hill, Virginia. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he remained until his health failed. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dora B. May, three brothers and one sister. He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Ray (Annie) Logan of Norfolk, Virginia, and Lamont May of Kenbridge, Virginia, two nephews he help raised as his sons, Preston Logan of Virginia and Lance Logan of North Carolina, four grandchildren, Tyrone (Ree) Goode of North Carolina, Malita Jefferson of Petersburg Virginia, RaJunar (Demetrice) Logan of Norfolk, Virginia, Adashia Moore of Virginia, Eight Great-grandchildren; Anthony Jefferson, Erykah Jefferson, Larry Manning, III, Aurea Logan, Kiyon Ollie, Kanara Neal, Tynejah Goode; one sister, Nancy Johnson of Kenbridge, Virginia, one brother-in-law, James Henry Logan of Kenbridge, Virginia, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
